Incline Village NV Public Works has several projects in progress for 2014.
For starters, the engineering department is working on a number of capital projects scheduled for construction in 2014. These include:
- The Village Green Bathroom Replacement
- The Ski Beach Bathroom Replacement
- The 2014 Sewer main Rehabilitation Project
- The 2014 Water main Replacement Project
- The Recreation Center Roof Replacement
Some others that are in planning and design phase for 2014 are the Mountain Golf Course Facilities Study, the Diamond Peak Incline Creek Culvert Rehabilitation, the Public Works Cold Storage Building and the second phase of the Effluent Export Pipeline Replacement Project.
A plan for summer ops is arising from a vision to develop Diamond Peak into a year-round recreation area that could be approved as early as next month. The Incline Village General Improvement District board of trustees will be briefed on the ski area’s master plan update at its regular meeting next Wednesday. Depending on feedback, the plan currently in a draft stage may be up for adoption at one of the board’s meetings in March.
